There was a time when I thought I needed 30-60 minutes to write a great article. Then I realized that in order to be successful in my online business I needed to write a whole lot more than I could at the pace. So I challenged myself to write an article in 20 minutes. Then I challenged myself to write one in 10 minutes.

The thing is, if you think writing a great article should be long and difficult then it will be. If you focus your beliefs and efforts on writing great articles fast then you will do it. It’s simply a matter of mindset. We think ourselves into and out of every situation. Instead of agonizing over what the next word will be, just write it. We’ve all heard before that you should write as fast as you can and then edit later. How often do you really take that advice and write as fast as you possibly can.

If our typing skills could keep up with our brains we’d probably be pumping out an article a minute. Writing fast is about knowing what you want to say and then just saying it without letting things like punctuation, proper grammar or spelling get in the way. Fix those things later. They only slow you down in the moment. Here are some tips to always write articles fast no matter the topic:

- Prepare at least a handful of subjects ahead of time. This will allow you to mull it over and think about it before you must sit down to write.
- Just write what comes to your mind. Don’t edit it, don’t delete it or over think it. Just go.
- Set a time limit. Push yourself to write faster than you thought you could. When I went from 20 minutes for an article to 10 I doubled the amount I could write in one day.
- Be you. Depending on what you are writing for there may be a certain ‘personality’ you need to project but for all other cases just be you and let it flow naturally from your unique personality.

Writing articles fast is one of the best ways to build your business on the internet. Every day people come to the internet looking for content and by getting more of your own ideas and suggestions out there you will be increasing your potential exposure and profits for your own business.
